I know Amherst Higher education is, but i would like to go to a college. And i was asking yourself if it was a liberal one particular?

Yes, but unless you are arranging on going to a conservative Christians university with a curfew and rules on who you can date, all universities and colleges are rather liberal. Schooling makes you a lot more liberal – by exposing you to new ideas and new methods of thinking and possessing you meet people who are not just like you.

Yes. In fact you should be looking for college’s that are liberal. They have better connections. As eri said, you don’t want to go to a right wing conservative college with all those restrictions.
liberal? if you define liberal as tolerant of all sorts of wierdos, whackos and borderline looney-toons, then yes.
UMass Amherst does have a liberal feel to it, but there are also a decent number of conservative and religious students on campus. It’s a large, public university that’s one of the best in its state, so it attracts people of all beliefs and backgrounds. No matter what your beliefs are, you’ll find friends who share those beliefs.
But overall, yes, it’s fairly liberal.
